Omagh - Rosewood
Rosewood Beacon Day Support provides a range of structured group and individual activities to help those who experience mental ill health to access support in a safe and encouraging environment. The members, staff and volunteers work in partnership in all aspects of the running of the centre. The service is offered in an atmosphere of support, warmth, understanding and friendship.
Rosewood is based approximately one mile from the town centre and is easily accessible by the town service bus which stops outside. Our volunteer driver service ensures that those who live in remote areas and cannot access public transport easily can attend the centre. This helps combat social isolation and encourages social integration. A varied programme of activities is available throughout the week, including outreach activities and individual sessions. These activities may be facilitated by staff, members, volunteers or specialist providers e.g. lecturers from our local college. Some activities may be held in Rosewood or at other outside venues e.g. other Beacon Day Support centres, local college or community groups.

This programme of activities is complemented by a range of outreach activities which includes shopping trips, visits to cinemas, concerts or plays, visits to other centres or places of interest and holidays.
