Magherafelt - Market Street
Market Street Beacon Day Support opened in 1991. The purpose of the service is to offer support to people in our community with mental health needs. The service is provided within an atmosphere of warmth, understanding and acceptance where members are encouraged to participate in all aspects of the provision of the service. The aims of the Market Street is: To build confidence and self-esteem amongst members; To promote integration into the local community; To encourage independence and contribute to the prevention of admission of re-admission to psychiatric hospital.
