L'Derry - Clarendon
Our aim is to provide a range of opportunities and support to people with mental health needs. Support comes not only from trained staff but also from meeting and talking to others who have had or are experiencing mental health difficulties, in a relaxed unhurried atmosphere. Members can drop in or take part in any of the activities / groups available.
Staff and members work in partnership to ensure the service reflects the needs of members and encourages active involvement in all areas. Fortnightly partnership meetings are held to discuss and plan work of the centre. Individual support planning with a key worker means that a tailored programme of activity can be accessed by all members. This may include: educational classes; self-help / support groups; creative activities; complementary / alternative therapies; social opportunities.
